Alexandre Guilbaud

Experience

Alexandre Guilbaud is an associate professor at Sorbonne University, and a member of the Institut de mathématiques de Jussieu-Paris Rive Gauche (UMR 7568, CNRS, Sorbonne University, University of Paris) since 2009. One part of his work deals with the history of mathematical and physico-mathematical sciences and their interactions in the 18th century; the other is in the field of digital humanities. He has been involved in the project for the critical and commented edition of D’Alembert’s Complete Works for several years and is the director of the Collaborative and CRitical Digital Edition of the Encyclopædia of Diderot and D’Alembert, 1751-1772 (ENCCRE). He has been coordinating the Digital Humanities team at the Institute of Computing and Data Sciences (ISCD) of Sorbonne University since 2018.
